Bucknell University presented degrees to nearly 900 graduates at Commencement on May 19, 2019.

Challenge. Failure. Resilience. Triumph. And what it means to be a Gettysburgian through it all. These and other themes were reflected during Gettysburg College's 184th Commencement ceremony as we celebrated the accomplishments of our 611 graduates and looked forward with them to the future. Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

The following students have been recognized by the Department of Student Life and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life for their accomplishments as individual members of the UVM community as well as participants in Fraternity and Sorority chapters who exemplified commitment to the pillars of citizenship, friendship, leadership, lifelong learning, and justice.

This student-athlete was recognized on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) / Zag Field Hockey National Academic Squad for their academic achievements in the Fall 2018 term.

The following students were named to the Dean's List at Paul Smith's College during the fall 2018 semester. Each earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.

The following students helped raise a collective $117,530.29 for the University of Vermont Children's Hospital through active participation in RALLYTHON - UVM's annual year-long student-led fundraiser and 12-hour dance marathon in support of Vermont's local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

The following students spent their spring break completing service projects around the nation as a part of University of Vermont's Alternative Spring Break - a student-led, week long program that provides UVM students with an opportunity to travel and involve themselves in service-work focused around a number of social issues in communities throughout the nation.

60% percent of Bates College students elect to study abroad through the college's Center for Global Education. Bates' nationally recognized international education program offers access to academically rigorous and culturally enriching programs in more than 60 countries.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

This student-athlete was recently named to the Castleton women's lacrosse roster.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2018 semester at St. Lawrence University.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the Fall 2018 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

473 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the Fall 2018 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Siena College names students to the Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2018 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
